Looks like the X-Factor will need to find two more replacements at the judge’s table for the next season of the reality singing competition. News reports state Spears herself decided to leave the show before she was let go in order to get back to focusing on her music career and her upcoming eighth studio album. Either way Simon Cowell should be pleased as it is rumored that he was displeased with Spears’ lackluster critiques at the judge’s table, calling her “boring.” No word yet on who will be taking Spears’ place or Reid’s for that matter Fox and the show’s producers haven’t made an official announcement about her exit but there is still plenty of time to find the new judges.

Now that Britney Spears is officially signed on as one of the replacement judges for season two of show, who is going to fill the last vacant seat? Reports state that Simon Cowell is looking for another pop sensation to join the judges table. Maybe Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato perhaps? Some rumors even claim Avril Lavigne to be in the running. No offer has been extended to any of these singers yet so we’ll just have to wait and see. Not only does another judging seat have to be filled but X-Factor is also looking for a new host since Steve Jones was fired along with Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger back in January.

Because the judges saved Matt Giraud! Thank you!!! He is one of my favorites this season!
I could not believe Lil was saved by her fans.
She and Matt were in the bottom three along with Anoop, who was declared to safety first..and then Lil.
Matt sang his heart out and I was like “OMG HE CANNOT GO HOME!” the whole time, haha.
And then to make things MORE nerve-wrecking Simon started telling Matt how he thought he didn’t stand a chance winning the competition.
THANK GOD he was just kidding. And then he told Matt he was safe, and all of the other Idols ran up to him to hug and congratulate him for staying!
And Paula went up for a hug too. =P
