It’s official! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have finally tied the knot. The couple, nicknamed Kimye by the media, were married in Florence, Italy at a private ceremony in the presence of family and friends. The ceremony was held at the Forte di Belvedere, a 16th-century-era fortress atop a hill near the Arno river. The bridal party consisted of only Kim’s sisters Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie and step-dad Bruce walked Kim down the aisle. Rumors have been circulating for months about the when and where’s of the nuptials but the media became suspicious when the wedding party slowly started gathering in Paris starting a week ago. Ahead of the pack was of course Kim, Kanye and baby North followed soon after by the rest of Kim’s family. Brother Rob was only in Paris for the pre-wedding festivities, he left his family as they made their way from Paris to Florence and just touched down in L.A today. Other guests in attendance included Scott Disick, Jonathan Cheban, Simon Huck, Rachel Roy, LaLa Anthony, Brittny Gastineau, Jaden Smith, Ray Romulus, stylist Monica Rose, and Robin Antin among many others. Some of the pre-wedding festivities included a girls-only dinner on Thursday evening hosted by famed jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, the creator of Kim’s engagement ring, and longtime friend of the family Shelli Azoff. On Friday, Valentino hosted an intimate pre-wedding brunch at his Château de Wideville, just outside of Paris. The exclusive guest list was limited to Kim’s family, two of Kim’s closest friends Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck, and André Leon Talley. Then on Friday night hundreds of guests partied at the Palace of Versailles which included horse-and-carriage arrivals, fireworks and a surprise performance by Lana Del Rey. Additional details about the wedding include Givenchy as the designer of Kim’s dress as well as baby North’s and Kanye’s tux. Guest dined on traditional Tuscan cuisine before they enjoyed an impressive 7-tier cake and Andrea Bocelli and John Legend gave performances. Congrats to the happy couple!
