Jessica Simpson is a mom for the second time, giving birth to a baby boy yesterday. The little boy whose name is Ace Knute Johnson was born at Ceders-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles via a schedule C-section. The baby boy’s middle name honors dad, retired NFL-er Eric Johnson’s Swedish paternal grandfather, Knute Johnson, according to Us Magazine. Seems like Jessica and Eric are fans of honoring family members seeing as their one year old daughter was given the name Maxwell which is Eric’s middle name as well as his grandmother’s surname, and Drew is the maiden name of Jessica’s mom Tina Simpson. While of course the parents are over the moon, other people close to the family have spoken out including Jessica’s dad, Joe Simpson, who took to Twitter to reveal his excitement, sharing: “Very blessed to celebrate the birth of my new grandson.” Congrats to the second time parents!

Jessica Simpson Confirms She’s Pregnant
Once again Jessica Simpson has finally confirmed after weeks of speculation that she is indeed pregnant with her second child. After weeks of being spotted out and about wearing baggy, black clothing Jessica has finally decided to confirm the what everyone already knew. Christmas morning, Simpson posted a pic on her Twitter featuring her daughter Maxwell Drew looking festive for the holidays and sitting on a patch of sand with the handwritten words “big sis” inscribed in the sand. The pic was accompanied by the caption, “Merry Christmas from my family to yours!” And in her brand new Weight Watcher’s commercial released today Simpson states; “Being healthy has become a part of who I am, which is great timing, because I’m having another baby!”. So despite all the media reports it is safe to say that Jessica’s endorsement of Weight Watcher’s has not changed despite the singer being pregnant. The star will not follow the diet program during her pregnancy, but plans to resume the plan after giving birth next year. Congrats to the second-time parents!
Baby No. 2 for Jessica Simpson?
Rumors began to swirl that Jessica Simpson is pregnant with baby No. 2 just seven months after giving birth to daughter Maxwell after a source reportedly broke the news to Us Weekly. In the mag, the source states; Jessica and fiancé Eric Johnson’s second baby “definitely wasn’t planned,” but the singer-designer is said to be “overjoyed” with her surprise news. Jessica welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1 and since then, the Weight Watchers spokeswoman has been hard at work shedding the pregnancy pounds. Could all of her hard work be for nothing? A rep for Simpson has yet to comment on the rumors but what do you think?

Jessica Simpson (Finally!) Gives Birth
After what seems like the longest Hollywood pregnancy, Jessica Simpson is now a mommy. The singer/fashion mogul gave birth to a daughter as expected and she does also have a rather unusual name also as expected. Maxwell Drew Johnson was born early this morning weighing 9 pounds, 13 ounces and was reportedly delivered via C-section. As her due date got closer, Simpson was getting increasingly uncomfortable and even though she was early she was more than ready to deliver. Another thing Simpson is ready for: to be a wife. Reports say that their wedding will be later this year.
Congrats on your new bundle of joy!
