J.Lo and Casper Smart Headed For A Break-Up?

J.Lo and Casper Smart Headed For A Break-Up

Rumors are swirling that J.Lo is re-evaluating her relationship with her back-up dancer beau. The rumors began when photos surfaced that purported to show Casper ducking into a peep show doorway just a day before J.Lo’s 43rd birthday in NYC. Smart says he was lost and entered the wrong doorway. Meanwhile his lawyers strongly refuted what they claim were defamatory statements made by tabloids—against which they threatened legal action. Whatever the case may be, a source close to Lopez has spoke to E! News stating; “They have not split yet, but it’s fair to say they are cooling off a bit. The pictures have created a distance between them. Even if Casper is telling the truth, and he didn’t mean to walk into the doorway, it just proves how young and immature he is. He should have been more careful, he knows he is often being followed by paparazzi.” Only time will tell what the future holds for J.Lo and Casper Smart.

It’s Official! Mariah Carey Joins American Idol

American Idol Drama Nicki vs Mariah

Fox President Kevin Reilly announced today that Mariah Carey closed a deal to become a judge on the next season of American Idol. Mariah spoke to reporters via speakerphone at the TV Critics Association press tour where Reilly made the annoucement, saying: “I am so excited to be joining Idol. I wish I could have been there myself to tell you. It all kind of just happened real quickly. I can’t wait to get started in a couple months…I will see you in January!” Concerning the other two judges, Reilly also spoke out about their statuses. In regards to Randy Jackson, Reilly stated, “Randy has been working with Mariah for a long, long time and is in fact her co-manager. Randy was very instrumental in this deal.” Seems like Mr. Jackson will remain a judge, no? And as for J.Lo, Reilly put all the rumors to rest by saying there is no chance of her returning for the following season. “I think I can say that’s 100 percent that Jennifer won’t be coming back to the show.” What do you think about Mariah as a judge?

Everything You Need To Know About The Recent American Idol News

After recently reporting about possible judge hopefuls in case one or more of the Idol judges would not be returning for the 12th season, both Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez have went on the record to announce that they would not be returning for the upcoming season. On the 12th, Tyler made it official via a Fox press release that he won’t be back because he wants to focus on Aerosmith. In the statement, Tyler said; “Idol was over-the-top fun, and I loved every minute of it…Now it’s time to bring Rock Back.” Less than 24 hours later, Lopez also announced via Ryan Seacrest’s morning radio show that she would also not be returning. “I honestly feel the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that you do, and you have to pay attention to that, too,” she says. “I could keep doing Idol for the rest of my life, but that would be giving up a bunch of other things. I feel like we had an amazing run.” No news on whether or not original judge since season 1 Randy Jackson would still remain on the show but some top choices for replacements for Tyler and Lopez include Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, and Adam Lambert.

Is Jennifer Leaving Idol?

8th Annual March of Dimes Celebration of Babies Luncheon - Arrivals

Although J.Lo has yet to make a public announcement regarding her future on Idol it seems as if she won’t be returning next season. The main reason for her calling it quits: she’s extremely busy. This summer Jennifer is set to go on tour in Latin America and the U.S with Enrique Iglesias and eventually wants to make it a worldwide tour. This will leave Jennifer on the road until the end of the year giving her no time to be in the U.S when the next round of Idol auditions begin. While J.Lo has some major decisions to make Fox could make her decision easier by offering her a much bigger payday.
