Singing superstar Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki welcomed their first child together this past Friday according to People. No information about the birth has yet been released, but all that is known is that the baby is a boy. The 24 year old first announced that she was expecting on her blog writing to her fans; “I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.” Soon after her pregnancy was revealed, rumors began to swirl that Adele and Simon were engaged but the singer has insisted that the rumors are not true. Now that the baby has arrived who knows what the future has in store for the couple. But in the meantime, congrats to the new parents!

Adele Spotted: Debuts Baby Bump & Wedding Ring?!
It seems like we finally have proof that Adele is farther along in her pregnancy than previously thought. Life & Style magazine managed to snap the first photos of the Grammy-winning singer in all her baby bumping glory as she steps out in London. Even though the 24 year old just announced in June that she and Simon Konecki were expecting their first child together, the photos suggest Adele may actually be due in September. And that’s not the only interesting thing the pics uncovered. It seems as if the songstress may have already gotten married by the looks of a gold wedding band on her ring finger. No word yet from Adele’s camp confirming or denying the rumors but a source gave Life & Style this tidbit; “Adele and Simon managed to keep the baby news a secret for so long that there are rumors they’ve already gotten married, too. She’s an old-fashioned girl and can’t wait to be part of a family unit. She just wants to focus on the baby and the man she loves.”
Adele Is Pregnant!
One would think that this is just a rumor but the British songstress took to her very own website to break the news to the world. On her blog she wrote “I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. And just last month, the Grammy winner shot down reports that the two were engaged. This will be the first child for Adele and the second for Konecki who has a 5 year old daughter with fashion stylist ex-wife Clary Fisher. Congrats to the expectant couple!
7-Year-Old Out of Coma Thanks to Adele
Out of all the achievements Adele has earned this may be her biggest yet all because she released the song “Rolling in the Deep”. 7 year old Charlotte Neve suffered a brain hemorrhage that left her in a coma back in April 2011. Doctors told the young girl’s mother to say her goodbyes so she cuddled with her daughter on the hospital bed and began to sing “Rolling in the Deep” to Charlotte once it came on the radio. And miraculously, Charlotte smiled in response. “I couldn’t believe it,” Charlotte’s mother told The Telegraph. “It was the first time she had reacted to anything since the hemorrhage. The nurses were astounded and told me to keep singing, and she smiled again. It was like she was rebooting,” her mother said. And after some physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, Charlotte was able to go home. “She was allowed to come home for a weekend to see how she was and the first thing she said was ‘home sweet home.’

Happy Birthday, Adele!
Today the multi-platinum Grammy winner turns 24! The past year has been nothing short of amazing for the mega-talented singer and songwriter. Although she had to undergo surgery on her vocal cords, this did little to slow her down. Her second album 21, although all about heartbreak, was nothing but earning Adele six Grammy awards and became t he highest-selling album of the 21st century. Not bad for someone so young. And most recently Adele snagged 18! Billboard Music Award Nominations. Seems like a good sign that this year will also be good to the singer.
