ADAM AND KRIS!
OMFG.
I seriosuly thought it would be an Adam vs. Danny finale.
But nope, it ended up being a Kris vs. Adam finale.
I hope Adam wins. I think he is more deserving than Kris.
Ahh….and they were only seperated by approximately 1 million votes! Dang!!!

Danny -> Paula: “Dance Little Sister”
My opinion: solid & good performance
Randy: hoarse tone (+)
Kara: dancing too gyrating
Paula: really good dancing
Simon: vocally very,very good
Kris -> Kara & Randy: “Apologize”
My opinion: ehh..not so good
Randy: very nice; showed what he could be in the music business
Kara: wanted him to swing it “out of the park”
Paula: bum note (-)
Simon: Randy & Kata should have arranged the song for Kris to make it a better performance
Adam -> Simon: “One”
My opinion: Emotional, awesome.
Randy: In the zone, but a lil off melody

So it was Rock night on Idol tonight n ..surprise surprise! Adam rocked it! haha..
Adam went first singing “Whole Lot of Love”
To sum it up in three words: BEST THING EVER. 😀
I predict he’ll be the next AI. <333
Randy:rock star Kara:rock god Paula:whole lot of perfect Simon:Nobody can top that
Next was my 2nd fave…
Allison! She sang “Bry Baby”
The judges said song choice wasn’t the best, but that she rocked it anyway. 🙂
Then..it was Kris. He sang “Come Together” by the Beatles.
Last season Carly Smithson sang the same song during Beatles Week, and I have to say her rendition was wayy better than Kris’s. He sounded “icky” and you could totally tell he was struggling. Sorry Kris!
Last, was Danny. In the words of last season’s Ramiele Malubay, “OH-LO!”
Danny sang “Dream On” by Aerosmith. Now last Michael Johns (<3) sang this and he was voted off the next day. But he had done an amazing job. Way more better then Danny. Simon said Danny’s note atthe end was like watching a horror movie. :O
The duets were cool too. Kris n Danny harmonized well together.
But Allison n Adam stole the show with theirs! It was soo freakin’ amazing! I felt like I was watching a concert. 😀 So they are now..officially my two faves!
American Idol: Top 7 (Again!)

Mkay, so it was Disco week. When they announced this last week I was thinking to myself “NOOO….this is goin to suck!” But, in really didn’t. 😀
First was Lil Rounds, showing her not so little voice in “I’m Every Woman” Unfortunately, that voice of hers doesn’t seem to be doing anything for her because of her lack of originality. I honestly think she’s goin home tomorrow or next week.
Next was Kris Allen. I was a bit nervous when I heard he was singing “She Works Hard for the Money“..the last time I had heard that was last season on AI during the finale. But Kris blew me away! His arrangement showed artistry (I think Kara loves the word artistry, hah)..anyway..Randy told Kris he was ready for big things to come and Simon thought it was a fantastic performance.
Danny Gokey! He sang “September” and I personally thought his vocals REALLY shined this week. Simon thought the arrangement was interesting, but also thought there was no star power in the performance.
Next on the list was Allison who sang “Hot Stuff”…which also reminded me of last year’s finale. Haha, but anyway I thought she did great and looked great! I <3-ed her outfit and her vocals are just amazing! Ranyd thought the arrangement was over indulgent but also thought her vocals were amazing. Simon on the other hand….thought it was a brilliant performance. =D
OMG. ADAM you are amazing. Enough said…Just kidding. Adam sanf “If I Can’t Have You”. Basically it was fantabulous ..haha. wow. I’m in such a weird mood. I just used the word fantabulous. But it was just so full of emotion, you could feel your heart breaking! Paula was so close to tears the whole time it was crazy! 🙂
Oh Matt, I really do <3 you. And I think you are awesome n amazing as well, but I didn’t think you picked the right song. Matt sang “Stayin’ Alive”. When he told us he was singing that I was like “Aw, Oh No!” It was 100% disco with a sprinkle of Justin Timberlake to the side. Overall, I think it wasn’t one of his best performances, but not one of his worsts. Kara thought it was a solid performance and Paule thought (in bowling terms) that he got a strike and not a gutterball. lol.. Go Matt! SAVE MATT! He can’t go home tomorrow night!!
Last, but not least, Anoop. He was clad in bubblegum pink while singing”Dim All the Lights”. I thought it was a pretty good performance. He’s been doing pretty well these last couple of weeks. Randy didn’t really like the arrangemtn and Simon thought it was mediocre..at best.
Well, I predict the bottom three will consist of: MATT, LIL ROUNDS, and ANOOP.
And the bottom two are positively going home tomorrow! Ahh, everyone SAVE MATT. I will seriously cry if he goes home.
