When news broke that Hunger Games director Gary Ross would not be returning for the sequel, Catching Fire, the entertainment world began to buzz with speculation over who would take the reigns as director. Lionsgate has come to a decision and is going with Francis Lawrence (who has no relation to Jennifer Lawrence). Francis has directed other big movies such as Constantine, I Am Legend, and Water for Elephants. Now all we need to wait for is the decision on who is going to be cast in the flick for the sequel’s new characters.
