The Vampire Diaries actress is apparently dating DWTS star Derek Hough. The couple stepped out together for the first on Saturday after rumors began a couple weeks ago that the two are dating. The 28 year old professional dancer and 24 year old actress were spotted arriving at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood trying to dodge the paparazzi but to no avail. Earlier in the night, Dobrev hit up Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights with girlfriends Lily Collins and BFF/Derek’s sister Juliana Hough. An indication that the two were loved up came at the end of last month when after the 2013 Emmy’s, Dobrev wrote a congratulatory message on Instagram to Hough who took home an award. She wrote, “@Derekhough !!!!!!!! #EMMYWINNER I cant express in 140 characters how unbelievably excited+incredibly proud I am of you. You deserve this.” This is Dobrev’s first boyfriend since her split with Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder back in May who she dated for over three years.
