George Clooney is Engaged!

EE British Academy Film Awards 2013 - Arrivals

Looks like George Clooney is ready to retire the title of the eternal bachelor. After just seven months of dating, Clooney seems to have popped the question to his lawyer girlfriend Amal Alamuddin. Despite his reps declining to comment, several sources and media outlets are reporting that its true. Alamuddin was first spotted with a conspicuous ring on her left hand while the couple were out dining on Thursday at Nobu in Malibu with Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber. In the middle of their dinner, when pal Edward Norton approached their table they announced “we’re engaged!” The couple were first romantically linked in October of last year when the two were looking cozy at a dinner party together. This will be the second trip down the aisle for 52 year old Clooney who was married to Talia Blasam from 1989-1993. After they divorced, Clooney was quoted saying that he’ll never marry again at which point he stopped talking about the subject. Clooney has had a string of famous exes since his divorce including most recently Elisabetta Canalis and Stacey Keibler all of which have failed to tie down the famous actor. Congratulations to the newly engaged couple!

George Clooney and Stacy Keibler Split

26th Anniversary Carousel of Hope Ball Presented by Mercedes-Benz - Arrivals

The eternal bachelor is single once more. After two years together, George Clooney and Stacy Keibler have decided to go their separate ways. Despite rumors that claimed Keibler bailed because she wanted to get married and have kids, it seems as if the couple’s busy schedules have been keeping them apart and was the ultimate factor that lead to their breakup. In fact the 52 year old actor has been filming his latest movie The Monuments Men in Berlin, where the couple were last seen when Stacey visited the set in March, while Keibler is busy with her own projects which include a new show and food line here in the states. A source has spoken out stating; “It’s a completely friendly breakup. There was nothing ugly going on.”
